Care Access seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build modern full‑stack applications using TypeScript. You will work in a remote‑first, cross‑functional team delivering scalable APIs in Node.js and PostgreSQL, with UI work in React.

The role emphasizes code quality, design docs, incident response, DevOps collaboration, and agile practices. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of front-end and back-end web development.
• Strong TypeScript, React, and Node.js skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack web apps using modern TypeScript in a functional-first style.
• Implement clean UIs from Figma with designers, using React.
• Build scalable backend APIs in Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate on code reviews, mentorship, and feature delivery.
• Proactively reduce technical debt and align data models.
• Deploy and support production with DevOps, incident response.
• Write/design system architecture docs and lead technical discussions.
• Coordinate with QA to ensure testable features and Agile processes.
