Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Senior Engineer to join a collaborative Scrum team, delivering high-quality software across Ruby, TypeScript, Jasper, Node.JS, Java, and SQL stack. The role requires strong problem-solving, ownership of deliverables, and clear communication within a flexible remote environment.

You will contribute to cloud and product infrastructure while supporting customers and stakeholders. Qualified candidates have 4+ years of software development experience, familiarity with SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or 5+ years of related experience
• Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience with modern programming languages and concepts
• Experience with Ruby, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.JS, Jasper, and Java
• Experience with MS SQL Server, MySQL and CouchDB preferred
• Experience with agile methodology is a plus (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile development environment; actively participate in and contribute to all Scrum ceremonies.
• Collaborate on design, development, and delivery of software solutions per requirements and committed schedules.
• Test, debug and add enhancements to existing applications.
• Contribute to code reviews.
• Analyze and research software requirements associated to identified user stories and epics.
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.
