Job summary

Assort Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to drive our full-stack product roadmap, with emphasis on backend systems and data flows across healthcare workflows. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborating with product, design, and customers to deliver scalable, reliable software that improves patient experiences.

You’ll work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, and Postgres to build across UI, APIs, data models, and integrations, while upholding privacy and security

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Proven ability to design, build, and scale production-grade applications or systems.
• Experience building full-stack web applications and working across UI, API, data, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop features and products from the ground up with the engineering team.
• Own and ship scalable software solutions across the stack, including UI, APIs, data models, and background jobs.
• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and customers to address real-world healthcare challenges.
• Ensure HIPAA and security standards are met while delivering reliable products.
• Engage in design discussions, tradeoffs, and high-ownership delivery.
