Job summary

Loopio is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and deliver scalable features for a global platform. You’ll lead backend/API work in Python/Java/PHP, build RESTful services, and collaborate across ML, frontend, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Strong backend/API development in Python, Java or PHP.
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL.
• Proficient in building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Mentorship to other engineers through coaching and code reviews.
• Exposure to AI technologies and API integration with AI services.
• Frontend development experience with React/JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and core services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end feature development for Loopio’s platform.
• Design reusable frameworks and shared libraries to scale patterns.
• Proactively prevent bugs through thoughtful architecture and tests.
• Gather feedback from customers to ensure user-centric design.
• Collaborate with ML team to integrate AI agents and knowledge graphs.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to AI roadmap with patterns for agentic workflows.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects with automated tests.
