Job summary

GrowthLoop is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build the backend systems that power GrowthLoop and own the services that move data through our platform. You will shape query execution, orchestration logic, and data delivery, partnering with product and customers to ensure reliability at scale.

You bring 5+ years of production Python experience, a background in startup or high-growth environments, and end-to-end ownership including on-call.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production coding experience in Python and building scalable backend services.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining services with end-to-end ownership including on-call.
• Experience with backend-heavy distributed architectures, with cloud exposure (GCP/AWS).
• Comfort with frontier tech like AI agents to enhance speed and impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate backend services that move data through GrowthLoop, from warehouse queries to downstream systems.
• Improve event handling, query execution, transformation of results, and delivery coordination.
• Dig into customer problems, identify practical solutions, and test their effectiveness.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations with major cloud data warehouses and real-time capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to reliability improvements.
