Job summary

Loopio is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build scalable features on our platform used by leading organizations. You’ll work with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to design end-to-end solutions, ship reusable frameworks, and improve code quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Canada, the UK, and India, with IST hours 11:00–19:30. You’ll mentor teammates, contribute to AI roadmap, and help define patterns for agentic workflows, while delivering reliable releases with

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Strong experience in backend/API development in Python, Java or PHP.
• Strong understanding of database design and RDBMS such as MySQL.
• Proficient in designing scalable RESTful APIs.
• Mentorship to other engineers through coaching, design, and code reviews.
• Exposure to AI technologies and integrating AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end feature development for Loopio’s platform.
• Design and ship reusable frameworks and libraries.
• Build robust tests and prevent bugs.
• Gather feedback from customers to drive user-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with ML teams to integrate AI agents and knowledge graphs.
• Mentor teammates and promote knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to AI roadmap with patterns for agentic workflows.
• Identify and resolve defects with automated testing.
