Job summary

Loopio is seeking a Staff Software Developer to design and deliver complex features across our web platform. You will shape architecture, build reusable frameworks, and drive cross-team decisions while collaborating with product, ML, and design teams.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to Loopio’s AI roadmap, and help scale our knowledge-graph initiatives. This remote-first role overlaps with teams in multiple time zones, with strong emphasis on collaboration and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend/API design and scalable system delivery.
• Experience leading architectural discussions and driving cross-team decisions.
• Hands-on with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Frontend experience with React/JavaScript is a plus.
• Mentors others and contributes to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and end-to-end delivery of complex features for Loopio's web platform.
• Design reusable frameworks and shared libraries to scale patterns across teams.
• Drive architectural decisions and system-level thinking across teams.
• Build tooling to prevent bugs and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with ML to integrate AI agents and knowledge-graph features.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and technical guidance.
