Job summary

Government Technical Services Corporation seeks a Software Engineer, Level 3, for an on-site role in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, review components, and resolve issues using established methodologies.

The position requires either a Bachelor's degree with extensive SWE experience or a high school diploma with 24 years of SWE background. On-site duties include collaboration with system engineers and users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience on similar software projects.
• High School diploma with 24 years of SWE experience on related contracts.
• Experience with software processes on complex systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems per requirements.
• Reviews and tests software components for design compliance and tests.
• Resolves software problems using appropriate development methodologies.
• Contributes to system design with hardware/software trade-offs and reuse.
• Designs/implements complex database interfaces and queries.
• Develops algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
