Job summary

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, seeks a Software Engineer, Level 1 for on-site work in Annapolis Junction, MD. Analyze, debug and integrate existing software into new or modified systems, ensuring performance and reliability under active Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance.

The role requires seven years of SWE experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or four additional SWE years if no degree). On-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• If no degree: four additional SWE years on similar projects may substitute for a degree.
• Seven years of experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the development process used on projects.
• Develop algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards.
