Job summary

AEITS, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Technical Expert, Level 3, in Annapolis Junction, MD. All work is on-site. The role focuses on analyzing requirements, designing software systems, and ensuring performance with robust engineering practices.

Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph is required. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required; if no degree, 4 additional SWE years may substitute. Seven years’ SWE experience is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline required
• If no degree: four years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree
• Seven (7) years experience as a Software Engineer required

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet system performance and functional standards
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline

4 years of SWE experience substituted for Bachelor's degree
