Job summary
Amentum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Houston, TX to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems from documented requirements. Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 10 years of software programming experience in complex engineering environments.
- Experience with FactoryTalk, LabVIEW, and Studio 5000.
- Experience programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Experience programming data acquisition systems.
- Experience programming control systems.
- Experience with time synchronization across interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based upon documented requirements.
- Test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve reported software problems and debug existing code.
- Design or modify software to add features and improve performance.
- Integrate software into new or modified systems and environments.
- Contribute to software strategies, requirements, and documentation.
