Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Infra Systems team within the Platform group. You will own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, GCP, and Networking, building self-service tooling and guardrails to empower product teams with safe, scalable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with cloud networking primitives (VPCs, DNS, load balancers).
• Proficiency in Go or Python for platform tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives across AWS, GCP, and Networking.
• Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe provisioning.
• Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing to embed guardrails.
• Drive standardization across multi-cloud infrastructure to reduce fragmentation.
• Lead investigations and improvements across infrastructure boundaries.
