Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating production distributed systems with Go or a comparable systems language.
• Experience designing and shipping high-impact backend/platform systems used by many engineers and services.
• Proven technical leadership on cross-team initiatives and ability to mentor through design review and code.

Responsibilities

• Own core developer infrastructure platforms, including CI/build systems and deployment orchestration, across the full lifecycle from design through production operation.
• Identify the group's highest-leverage problems, turn ambiguous challenges into concrete technical roadmaps, and drive alignment across dependent teams.
• Drive improvements to build/CI wall time, deploy speed and safety, and developer feedback latency.
• Lead strategic cross-cutting initiatives end to end, including large-scale platform migrations and adoption across many teams.
• Raise the reliability bar for developer infrastructure by owning SLOs, observability, and on-call, designing recoverable systems.
• Partner with engineering customers, EMs, and leadership to shape technical strategy and mentor engineers.
