As a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Infra Systems team within the Platform group, you will own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, GCP, and Networking, delivering secure, scalable foundations that empower Coinbase engineers to move fast.

You will build self-service tooling, establish defaults, and collaborate with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing teams to embed guardrails and standardize cloud primitives across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Proficiency in Go or Python for platform tooling and automation.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-cutting infrastructure initiatives spanning AWS, GCP, and Networking.
• Build and maintain self-service tooling and paved-road defaults for safe provisioning and operation of cloud infra.
• Partner with Compute, Infra Security, and Routing to embed guardrails into provisioning.
• Drive infrastructure standardization across Coinbase's multi-cloud environment.
• Lead technical investigations and improvements across infrastructure boundaries.
