Job summary

Remitly in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Money Platform's GNX team. You will design, code, and operate high-throughput backend services powering cross-border money movement.

You will own platform areas, collaborate with ML, analytics, and partner teams, and participate in on-call rotations while driving engineering excellence and scalable, observable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed backend systems with high throughput and low latency.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test services, APIs, and data models for high-throughput money movement.
• Own a domain across GNX and collaborate with ML, analytics, and partner teams.
• Lead and ship features while guiding technical strategy and maintaining system stability.
