Job summary

Remitly, Inc. is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for the High Value Send Experience team in Seattle. This full-stack role covers customer-facing web and mobile experiences and interfaces with identity, trust, pricing, and core money movement systems.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to translate customer trust goals into scalable technical solutions and to raise the bar for reliability, observability, and performance across critical transfer flows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and operating systems end-to-end.
• Designing and building distributed, large-scale domains.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Bonus: FinTech, payments, or regulated industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and architecture for complex systems powering the High Value Send experience.
• Deliver 0-to-1 product experiences and scalable systems across web, mobile, and backend services.
• Mentor teammates and promote best practices in coding, testing, and design.
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, and partner teams to translate goals into scalable solutions.
