Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division to lead embedded, safety-critical software across vehicle management, sensors, and autonomy platforms. You will own end-to-end software delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to advance autonomous maritime capabilities.

Proficiency in C, RTOS, and real-time systems is required, along with experience in CAN, Ethernet, UART, SPI, and I2C.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proficient in C and RTOS environments.
Strong systems programming skills (algorithms, data structures, concurrency).
Ability to own software components end-to-end with stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

Design and implement trusted, safety-critical Vehicle Management Systems.
Develop scalable vehicle subsystems including sensors, state estimation, and actuation.
Contribute to reusable software components across Anduril products.
Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
Create test and simulation fixtures with hardware-in-the-loop.
Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams.
