Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division to design and deliver embedded software for flight and vehicle management systems on autonomous platforms. You will own subsystems, lead software architecture, and collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams.

Qualifications include C++/Rust, RTOS, and experience with sensors and actuators. You may travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and other teams. US Secret clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience writing C++/Rust and RTOS.
• Familiarity with CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet, ARINC protocols.
• Strong systems programming, concurrency, and optimization.
• Ability to own software components, engage stakeholders, and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement safety-critical Flight/Vehicle Management Systems.
• Develop scalable vehicle sub-systems (sensors, state estimation, actuation).
• Contribute to reusable components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop real-time embedded software using an RTOS.
• Create test/instrumentation fixtures for software and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and/or other teams up to 20%.
