Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive software delivered across our autonomous maritime platforms, including autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and off-board command and control. You will own end-to-end delivery, mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while traveling up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive software engineering experience across multiple domains and/or technologies.
• Experience with scalable software systems and lifecycle management.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder setting.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, maximizing end-user value.
• Design and implement scalable software delivering capabilities beyond current platforms.
• Contribute to the design and development of services reusable across product lines.
• Develop software for on- and off- robotic platforms using diverse technologies.
• Lead development processes for vehicle and mission software with full lifecycle testing.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software/hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment; mentor engineers from diverse backgrounds.
• Travel to co-locate with end-users and teams up to 20% of the time.
