Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Maritime Division to drive autonomous software across vehicle and mission systems. You will own end-to-end software delivery, from design through deployment, including simulation, testing, and integration with hardware teams.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across product lines, and travel up to 20% to work with end-users. A BS in a relevant field and experience in software for robotics or defense systems are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, CS, Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive professional software engineering experience.
• Strong system design, data structures, concurrency, testing.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services with stakeholder coordination.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users to balance needs and constraints.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers.
• Design scalable software with architecture evolution path.
• Develop reusable components across Anduril products.
• Build software for robot platforms and off-board systems.
• Lead vehicle and mission software lifecycle, testing and monitoring.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users.
