Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Life Sciences AI team, fully integrated with QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey. You will design and build agentic and full-stack applications for Pharma and MedTech.

You will translate pilots into production-ready systems, shape reusable components, and work with distributed teams across North America. The role offers growth opportunities and exposure to cutting-edge challenges within a global network.

Qualifications

Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience developing full-stack applications.
Experience building agentic AI applications with multi-agent workflows and tool calling.
Experience across the full stack: cloud, containers, database, Python for agent development, API, UI (React/Next.js).
Knowledge graphs to ground GenAI/LLM applications is a plus.
Experience in Agile teams and pair programming.
Strong English communication and time management.
