Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Platforms & Agents to join our client in delivering distributed, AI-enabled services in a secure, cloud-native environment. The role focuses on building scalable microservices and intelligent agents, with emphasis on automation, IaC, and secure development practices.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with systems engineers and security teams, and drive modern CI/CD pipelines while maintaining rigorous documentation and testing

Competenze

• BS degree and 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and building complex or distributed systems.
• Experience with AI/ML systems, including LLM integration in production.
• Strong background in cloud-native architectures and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience delivering software in secure, regulated, or compliance-driven environments.
• Ability to bridge software development, systems engineering, and security disciplines.
• Must have and maintain a Secret security clearance.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Intelligent Platforms & Agents to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will focus on designing and delivering distributed software capabilities that support intelligent automation, agent-based workflows, and AI-enabled services in a secure environment. You will work closely with systems engineers, security partners, and other technical stakeholders to turn operational needs into reliable, scalable solutions. The position also emphasizes engineering discipline, cloud-native development, and continuous improvement across build, test, deployment, and documentation practices.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annually

Responsibilities
