Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to improve prescription processing and pharmacy experiences. You will join a team that handles intake through fulfillment, focusing on automation, reliable architecture, and cross-team collaboration.

You will work with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, shaping scalable systems and enabling partnerships with manufacturers, insurers, and providers. A strong track record in high-volume environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies, operating within modern environments (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Own the Care Team services from intake to order fulfillment for pharmacies.
• Improve pharmacist workflows and integrate billing, benefits, and clinical workflows for partners.
• Lead high-impact projects and drive scalable, reliable backend systems.
