Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the FuzeRx team to improve patients’ lives through a better pharmacy experience. You will join the Care Team handling prescription processing from intake to order fulfillment, balancing automation with efficient manual workflows.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering, deep backend/full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL, and a track record of building resilient systems.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive software engineering in a high-volume production environment.
• Core Technologies: Deep background in Backend or Full Stack, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL.
• System Design: Architect complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Technical Fundamentals: Strong fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Quality & Best Practices: Proven practice in code style, documentation, reviews, and issue mitigation.
• Mindset: Relentless in pursuing impact through your work.

Responsibilities

• Join the Care Team to manage prescription processing end-to-end.
• Improve pharmacy experiences through automation and reliable workflows.
• Collaborate with partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows.
• Contribute to high-impact projects and mentor other engineers.
• Architect scalable backend systems for healthcare data.
