Fuze Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to improve patients’ lives through a better pharmacy experience. You will work on services that manage prescription processing from intake to fulfillment, partnering with drug manufacturers, insurers, and providers to configure billing and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies, operating within modern environments (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Proven track record of technical best practices, including code style, documentation, code review, bug fixing, and production issue mitigation.
• Relentless in pursuing impact through your work.

Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ lives by enhancing the pharmacy experience through automated and efficient workflows.
• Enable partners to configure billing, benefits, and clinical workflows for their use cases.
• Increase intake automation by leveraging LLMs to parse unstructured prescription data.
• Integrate dispensing history and risk scores into the pre-dispense safety and review step.
• Optimize drug selection to help patients get the best price.
