Job summary

Fuze Health in Texas is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for FuzeRx to strengthen the care team’s services that manage prescription intake, processing, and fulfillment. You will help optimize the backend stack and collaborate with product, data, and clinical teams to improve billing, benefits, and workflows.

This role emphasizes architectural excellence, high-volume systems, and mentoring peers, with a path toward leading impactful projects like automating prescription data handling with LLMs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience in a high-volume, high-throughput production environment.
• Deep background in Backend or Full Stack technologies, operating within modern environments (like our core stack of Ruby on Rails, TypeScript/JavaScript, and PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in architecting complex systems for long-term maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience building high-volume, resilient systems.
• Proven track record of technical best practices, including code style, documentation, code review, bug fixing, and production issue mitigation.
• Relentless in pursuing impact through your work.
