Job summary

Behavior One Autism Solutions is seeking a senior, hands-on software engineer on a contract basis to advance existing materials into a dependable healthcare data platform. You will integrate healthcare, HR, accounting, and Microsoft 365 systems, implement data validation, and deliver maintainable features with tests and deployment support.

Collaborating with the founder, you will translate business priorities into scoped milestones, explain technical tradeoffs, and ensure maintainable, scalable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineer experience.
• Senior-level experience delivering and maintaining production software.
• Strong backend, relational database, SQL, and API integration skills.
• Ability to build or modify the application interface to deliver complete workflows.
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, automated testing, cloud deployment, and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess and extend existing source code, specifications, and prototypes.
• Build reliable integrations with healthcare, HR, accounting, and Microsoft 365 systems.
• Develop data validation, reconciliation, exception-management, and reporting workflows.
• Deliver maintainable application features with tests, documentation, and deployment support.
• Work directly with the founder to translate business priorities into clear engineering milestones.
