Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for File Integrations in Pittsburgh. You will own design, development, and reliability of flat-file exchanges, integrating external data with internal systems using SSIS, T-SQL, and C# services.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with Enterprise Pharmacy Systems and Market Place teams to ensure accurate, timely data delivery and robust test environments across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on SSIS for ETL and data ingestion/generation pipelines.
• Strong T-SQL, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Proven C# applications development and file-processing experience.
• Experience building flat-file ingestion/generation in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SSIS packages for inbound/outbound file processing.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL logic and related data transformations.
• Create and maintain C# services to support file processing and orchestration.
• Ensure data validation, error handling, and audit trails across workflows.
• Mentor engineers and promote SDLC discipline across the team.
