Job summary

NexTech Solutions in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a hybrid role with our healthcare client. The ideal candidate will own production flat-file integrations and build reliable file-processing solutions using C#, T-SQL and SSIS.

Strong candidates will have 7+ years of software engineering, experience with inbound/outbound integrations, SDLC discipline, and the ability to propose practical modernization ideas, possibly leveraging Azure Data Factory.

Qualifications

7+ years of related software-engineering experience.
Strong T-SQL and C# development.
Direct experience with inbound and/or outbound flat-file integrations.
Full SDLC with lower environments, testing and deployment discipline.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience with healthcare or regulated industries is a plus (SFTP/PGP, HIPAA, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

Build and support reliable file-processing solutions.
Strengthen validation and reconciliation processes.
Improve monitoring and failure recovery mechanisms.
Establish repeatable testing across dev/test/staging before production.
Evaluate current processes and propose modernization ideas (e.g., Azure Data Factory).
