Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, to guide technical strategy across software projects. You will mentor engineers, drive scalable and secure solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience designing/building complex systems.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, React, WinForms and frameworks such as Azure, ADO, Git, Microservices, Event Hubs, Entity Framework, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Executes development of complex software systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Develops high-quality, maintainable code and conducts thorough code reviews.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define technical requirements and align on delivery, estimations and timelines.
• Mentors and coaches other software engineers.
• Embraces Agile methodologies, Scrum, and modern development tooling.
• Conducts effective code reviews and resolves technical issues.
• Stays informed on emerging technologies to drive innovation.
