Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to collaborate with software engineering to deploy and operate custom and off-the-shelf software systems. You will build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and SDLC automation across dev, test, and production environments.

Responsibilities include developing CI/CD pipelines, automating IaC, and guiding DevOps practices to improve agile delivery. Hybrid work in Pittsburgh with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years hands-on with Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD workflows, IaC scripts.
• 4+ years CI/CD pipelines/workflows with deployment strategies (blue-green, canary).
• 4+ years troubleshooting Azure or other cloud-based systems.
• 4+ years experience with SDLC practices, branching, branch protection, code review, and SonarQube.
• Strong scripting with PowerShell or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to software delivery automation and cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Implements DevOps practices to enhance Agile posture.
• Develops and maintains CI/CD systems for cloud apps and infrastructure.
• Deploys and maintains third-party software on in-house infrastructure as needed.
• Writes IaC and automates deployment using standard tools.
• Provides systems support and monitors cloud-based systems.
• Keeps up with Cloud/DevOps best practices and tooling.
• Documents automation processes.
• Troubleshoots CI/CD pipelines and supports workflows.
• Collaborates with developers to derive DevOps requirements.
• Mentors junior team members.
