Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy seeks an Application Solutions Engineer to analyze and troubleshoot pharmacy applications, merging data engineering, SQL development, and application support. The role requires strong analytic skills, modern data platform experience, and the ability to optimize data and app systems.

Responsibilities include developing SQL reports, tuning data pipelines, and providing technical support for specialty pharmacy apps. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in relational databases and application development/support.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL), PowerShell, and Python or similar languages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains reports and solutions using SQL.
• Writes and optimizes complex SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Implements performance tuning for data pipelines and application components.
• Provides technical support for specialty pharmacy applications and related systems.
• Troubleshoots software and connectivity issues; escalates when appropriate.
• Communicates complex technical issues clearly to non-technical end users.
• Documents issues, resolutions, and workflows in a ticketing system.
• Monitors and reports trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborates with end-users and support teams to resolve system issues.
