Job summary

Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, support, and resolve issues for enterprise technology solutions across campus, including Banner (Ellucian) and campus workflow systems.

The role reports to the Director of Enterprise Systems, requires 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri; evenings/weekends possible), and offers a salary range of $90,000–$98,000 with full benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• 5+ years of professional experience in application development, system administration, and enterprise software support.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Evidence of a commitment to community and belonging.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of background checks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex processes, problems, and data structures, recommending and producing quality software solutions.
• Install, upgrade, develop, configure, administer, support, and resolve issues for enterprise technology solutions deployed on campus.
• Lead and participate in key projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the Director of Enterprise Systems.
• Provide service to functional area clients, determining their needs and supporting their production incidents.
• Assure secure configuration and maintenance of systems and proper stewardship of sensitive data.
• Support production, test and development instances of supported systems with the Technology Infrastructure team.
• Stay updated on changing technology and best practices in application administration and development.
• All other duties as assigned.
