Salary: $66,270 – $80,620 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and configure the Ellucian Banner Student module and associated systems (e.g., DegreeWorks, CourseLeaf) to ensure optimal efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate system updates, testing, and production installation for Registrar software
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve system problems, coordinating with users, programmers, and vendors (Ellucian)
- Administer security and ensure compliance with university policies and FERPA guidelines
- Design, develop, and maintain operational reports, queries, dashboards, and visualizations using university reporting tools (currently Evisions Argos)
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems and reports, utilizing Oracle SQL scripts as needed
- Oversee the reporting of enrollment and degree data to the National Student Clearinghouse
- Provide training, documentation, and technical assistance to Banner users within the Registrar’s office and campus-wide
- Serve as the primary technology liaison between the Registrar’s office and Library and Technology Services (LTS)
- Work partially remote as deemed appropriate by the supervisor
- Occasional travel, evening and weekend hours during peak periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Higher Education, Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three to five years of related work experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems, preferably Ellucian Banner products (SIS, Document Management Suite, Ellucian Workflow, Oracle SQL, Argos or similar advanced reporting tool)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
