Job summary

Franklin & Marshall College is seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer to develop, support, and maintain enterprise campus solutions including the Ellucian Banner suites. You will collaborate with the Director of Enterprise Systems and Information Technology Services to ensure reliable operations and data integrity across campus systems.

Responsibilities include analyzing complex processes, installing and supporting enterprise software, leading key projects, and ensuring compliant security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in application development, system administration, and enterprise software support.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
• Commitment to community and belonging.
• Successful interview and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex processes and data to design quality software solutions.
• Install, upgrade, configure, administer, support, and resolve issues for enterprise software on campus.
• Lead and participate in key projects and strategic initiatives under the Director of Enterprise Systems.
• Provide service to functional area clients and support production incidents.
• Ensure secure configuration and proper stewardship of sensitive data.
• Support production, test and development instances with the IT Infrastructure team.
• Keep up-to-date with technology trends and potential campus implementations.
• All other duties as assigned.
