Job summary

Odin Labs, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build and own end-to-end customer workflows across backend, web, and mobile. You will work with a product manager and a small team to understand customer problems, shape solutions, and carry them through production.

You will write production code, make technical decisions, and own quality and performance. As a hands-on engineer, you may lead project delivery or contribute as a senior team member, ensuring coherent, integrated outcomes

Qualifications

• Shipped customer-facing software across backend, web, and mobile
• Led a substantial product workflow from technical design through production
• Guided engineers through delivery and ensured quality and operability

Responsibilities

• Build customer workflows end to end across data models, APIs, web interfaces, and mobile experiences
• Partner with product to surface risks and define deliverable scopes
• Translate work into a technical plan and staged increments for the team
• Make pragmatic architecture choices within established patterns and improve them as needed
• Lead project delivery when required and provide clear ownership
• Own quality from design to production, with tests and release safeguards
• Release code safely with feature flags and controlled rollouts
• Operate and monitor production behavior, participate in on-call, and drive improvements
• Mentor colleagues through reviews, pairing, and contextual explanations
• Automate recurring work and simplify complex systems for maintainability
• Gain firsthand knowledge of Odin’s customers by visiting jobsites and observing product use
