Job summary

Qualifications

• US Citizen with DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years experience or combination.
• Experience with C and/or C++ or Java and at least one scripting language.
• Linux/Unix development environment experience.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading release efforts.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.
• DoD program experience; SCN experience a plus.
• Experience using GitLab, SharePoint, Fortify, JIRA.
• Agile software development experience.
• Agile certifications (software development oriented).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases.
• Analyze infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and testable code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Support and/or execute site testing at locations across the globe.
• Lead release efforts, including mentoring junior team members.
