Job summary

Software Engineer at CACI International Inc in Colorado Springs will sustain and modify software for the DSLM contract supporting the Satellite Control Network. You will participate in Agile ceremonies, produce software artifacts, and address deficiencies to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with DoD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years experience or combination.
• Software development experience using C and/or C++ or Java, and scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash, TCL).
• Experience in Linux/Unix development environments.
• Experience with Git version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading release efforts.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation.
• Analyze and demonstrate solutions; coordinate infrastructure needs driven by software.
• Document and demonstrate solutions with code comments, diagrams and tests.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates.
• Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
• Improve operations by analyzing systems and proposing policy changes.
• Develop software by studying information needs and user processes.
• Support site testing at locations across the globe and lead releases.
