Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Colorado is seeking an experienced software engineer to support the Next Gen GEO program's command and control software. You will join a 5-6 person agile team to maintain, test, and enhance the codebase for operations, ensuring timely on-call responses and coordination with DoD stakeholders.

The role requires a TS clearance (and ability to obtain TS/SCI), strong C/C++ development skills, and Linux background. Prior DoD site experience and knowledge of CI/CD tools are a plus.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance.
Ability to receive and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
3+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
Linux OS background/experience developing in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and test the software codebase.
Coordinate with Hardware, Network, and DevSecOps teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Work defects and mods to deliver a release to the customer.
Attend root cause analysis and failure reviews for the ground command and control team.
Respond to issues in an on-call posture, including evening and overnight hours as necessary.
