Job summary

Serco is seeking a Software Engineer (Journeyman) in Colorado Springs to support the Space Force Satellite Control Network (SCN). You will sustain and modernize software using Agile methods for TT&C3 operations across DoD and allied satellites.

The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, a BS degree, and at least 2 years of related experience, with skills in Java, C, or C++ and Linux/Unix environments. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree.
• 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in Java, C and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Perform software studies to find replacements for existing mission software.
• Develop new software release processes and testing procedures.
• Review, modify, and install programming systems to support applications.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for User Story alignment.
• Develop and test software solutions and automated test scripts.
