Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to support the USAF program at a DoD facility. You will develop software strategies, translate requirements into system design, and evaluate contractor deliveries while ensuring quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP
• Master's Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 10+ years of DoD/DoD contractor experience, or Bachelor's with 15+ years
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP experience within the last 8 years
• Recent hands-on software development or analysis
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for acquisition, development, and sustainment of software for weapon systems and support equipment
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for design, development, and testing of software
• Assess DoD contractor software deliveries and analyze performance deficiencies
• Audit DoD contractors for software configuration and quality accreditation
• Evaluate contractor design changes and perform systems analyses and trade studies
• Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements
• Evaluate test plans and participate in system, subsystem, and component testing
• Develop and review program and contract documentation
• Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals
• Perform technical risk assessments and mitigation planning
