Job summary

Mirantis seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and develop high-density control planes powering AI training and inference workloads. You will work with Rust and Go, design gRPC/Protobuf APIs, and implement robust reconciliation engines within Kubernetes environments.

The role emphasizes automated bare-metal provisioning, lifecycle management, and deep networking expertise across DPU and IX environments. Hybrid work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Rust and Go for cloud-native services.
• Strong SQL / PostgreSQL and API design with gRPC/Protobuf.
• Experience with Kubernetes operators and CRD-driven reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade control plane microservices.
• Architect and document API schemas, FR/NFR requirements.
• Develop network integration modules for SONiC and NVUE.
• Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to PR workflows with high test coverage and mock testing.
