Job summary

Mirantis, an IREN company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive control-plane development for BMaaS and datacenter networking. You will design production-grade microservices in Rust and Go, build Kubernetes operators, and integrate with SONiC, NVUE, and Cumulus for high-density AI infrastructure.

You will contribute to OpenTelemetry instrumentation, perform cross-domain code reviews, and uphold high test coverage while collaborating with a global, open-source–driven engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native platforms, systems programming, networking, or infrastructure automation.
• Demonstrated participation or maintainership in open-source systems projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade control plane microservices.
• Architectural specs, system sequence diagrams, and API schemas (REST/gRPC).
• Develop integrations for modern network operating systems and DPU hardware platforms.
• Instrument services using OpenTelemetry and perform root-cause analysis.
