Job summary

Mirantis seeks a Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Go) to design and implement the infrastructure services powering our GPU-as-a-Service platform. You will build the control plane that translates high-level API calls into hardware actions, enrolling bare-metal servers, provisioning OS, and assembling multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters on high-performance hardware.

You will own the full lifecycle of infrastructure services, from server APIs to provisioning workflows and reconciliation loops,

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes primitives and controller/reconciler patterns.
• Hands-on experience with bare-metal provisioning (BMC/Redfish, PXE/iPXE, image management).
• Experience building asynchronous workflows or event-driven systems (e.g., Temporal).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain REST and gRPC APIs for bare-metal lifecycle, MachineType definitions, and cluster CRUD operations.
• Develop asynchronous workflows to enroll servers, provision OS, and bring up clusters.
• Implement interfaces to visualize hardware inventory, provisioning progress, and cluster health.
• Design error-handling, idempotency, and reconciliation loops for long-running provisioning tasks.
• Collaborate on API versioning and gateway patterns.
