Job summary

Mirantis seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Storage) to design and build high-performance storage components for GPU-accelerated AI platforms. You will work on control-plane services, drivers, and tooling that connect storage systems to Kubernetes workloads across hybrid and air-gapped deployments.

You will contribute to Go-based production software, implement declarative provisioning, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable storage solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development, with production systems
• Go is the primary language for the role
• Experience with Kubernetes storage (CSI, persistent volumes, storage classes) and infrastructure-as-code

Responsibilities

• Design and build control-plane services, drivers (e.g., CSI), and tooling for storage on Kubernetes-based workloads.
• Deliver IaC and GitOps pipelines (Terraform/OpenTofu, ArgoCD/Flux) for storage configuration and lifecycle.
• Support bare-metal and hybrid provisioning where storage intersects host and cluster bring-up.
