Job summary

Temporal Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Compute for Temporal Cloud to help build durable, scalable compute primitives. You will own the hot path of task execution and orchestrate multi‑tenant, secure cloud interactions.

You will design autoscaling, APIs and observability while mentoring across Server, SDKs, Security and Control Plane teams. Strong systems background and Go experience are valued.

Qualifications

Experience building distributed systems or multi-tenant platform services.
Strong systems fundamentals: concurrency, performance, reliability, failure mode thinking.
Shipping platform primitives used by engineers/customers (APIs, control planes).
Experience owning outcomes: SLOs, incident response, on-call improvement.
Excellent written communication; Go experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Invent: design and implement managed compute primitives for Temporal Cloud.
Own: build services on hot path of task execution with performance focus.
Teach: lead design reviews and mentor across teams.
Lead: coordinate across Server, SDKs, Security, Control Plane.
