Senior Software Engineer at T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. in Owings Mills, MD.

You will engineer scalable cloud-based solutions for the Research Platform Team and Investments partners, modernizing workflows by integrating APIs and cloud tech. You will design, develop, test, and support software across applications, databases, and infrastructure. The role requires Workday integration experience, API development with OAuth 2.0, and data modeling with Workday Prism Analytics.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Engineering and Operations Management or a closely related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience with designing, building, and maintaining inbound and outbound Workday integrations.
• Experience configuring Workday modules including Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, and HCM.
• Developing REST and SOAP APIs with OAuth 2.0 security and testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Ingesting, transforming, and modeling data with Workday Prism Analytics.
• Using XML and XSLT to develop Workday reports with complex fields.
• Designing BIRT layouts and supporting secure file transfers via SFTP/MoveIt.
• Managing Agile and Waterfall SDLC with Jira and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Engineer scalable cloud-based solutions for Research Platform Team and Investments partners.
• Modernize processing workflows by incorporating APIs and cloud technologies.
• Design, develop, modify, and implement long-term software solutions across applications and databases.
• Review requirements and lifecycle; test, debug, and contribute to SDLC activities.
• Provide production support and assist with Workday system upgrades.
