Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on scalable cloud solutions. You will design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices while collaborating with product managers, architects, and engineers from anywhere in the world.

The role requires 5-7 years of professional software development experience, strong cloud platform knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP), and proficiency in at least one OO language.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience in designing and building microservices architectures.
• Strong proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
