Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a fully remote role in a fast-growing SaaS technology company. You will design, develop, and scale cloud-native microservices, drive robust CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will mentor engineers, lead architectural decisions, and ensure security and performance across our cloud infrastructure, using AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes in a remote-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on cloud-native applications.
• Proven experience designing and building microservices architectures (e.g., using Docker, Kubernetes, serverless technologies).
• Strong proficiency in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software for a cloud-native platform.
• Build and manage scalable, highly available microservices.
• Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services for compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
