Placements24 is hiring a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect for a fully remote FinTech role. You will design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP, driving secure, scalable, and cost-efficient platforms.

Lead a remote team and shape our cloud strategy to support a growing product suite. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT and deep expertise in microservices, containers, IaC, and cloud security, with FinTech compliance knowledge and relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT infrastructure and cloud computing experience, with at least 4 years in cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise deploying on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
• IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security, and data storage.
• FinTech compliance knowledge (PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Certifications like AWS/Azure are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, security principles, and data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with FinTech specific compliance and security requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
